The world is in our hands
"Ice Hand: This picture was taken in the Poconos during an ice storm. I took this shot because the branches resembled a hand and the ice looks like it is dripping out of the hand. Since the theme of the Calendar is “The world is in our hands,” I thought this picture was perfect."

Kara, this is a beautiful picture. To me, it fits the theme perfectly. The hand and the ice (nature) melting. If we don't do some thing to slow down the green house effect, the world/nature is going to melt away from our hands - this is a call for action!!!
